Sales Operation Specialist

Brewster Home Fashions, a leader in the home decor industry, is looking for a Sales Operations Assistant to join our team.

This is an integral role in the Brewster organization and requires someone with high energy and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities from many different sources, both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and driven, with a strong analytical background and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.

A primary focus for this position will require the individual who joins our team to ensure that communication flows through all departments appropriately so that the needs of our major accounts are being met sufficiently and in a time-sensitive manner. This plays out in a myriad of ways, from data management to engaging with both our sales team and customers regularly as we embark on new sales programs in our growing organization.

A day in the life of a Sales Operations Assistant at Brewster will include:

  • Oversee the day to day communication flow both internally and externally for the sales, marketing and product development teams on the needs of major accounts.
  • Communicate and follow up with our customers regarding the status of sales programs, including timelines, logistical issues or any questions or concerns.
  • Manage account portals to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
  • Collaborate with sales, product and marketing teams to ensure all information for new accounts and sales programs are provided fully and maintain communication flow between all parties regarding the status of any missing information needed to move forward.
  • Create and analyze sales reports with data generated from internal and external data sources.
  • Generate sales and maintain relationships with your defined inside sales account territory.
  • Assist in sales projects and initiatives as the develop and adhere to tight deadlines based on our customer’s needs.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of sales support/administrative experience, preferably in the consumer packaged goods industry.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel in a business setting.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Must have the capacity to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
